Louis Dunford (Albert Hall Manchester)

Albert Hall is one of Manchester’s most unique and stunning venues, and once again, it did not disappoint. Stepping into its grand setting, I had high expectations, and Louis Dunford delivered in every possible way.

Having had him on my radar for a while, I was eager to finally see him live, and from the first note, I knew it was going to be a special night. His songwriting—so effortlessly British and brilliantly relatable—shone even brighter in a live setting. Every lyric felt raw and real, and the way he brought his stories to life on stage was nothing short of immaculate.

The band was exceptional from start to finish, providing the perfect backdrop to Louis' heartfelt delivery. But what truly elevated the night was the crowd. Every song was met with a sea of voices belting out the lyrics, adding to the intimate yet electric atmosphere. Albert Hall felt like the perfect venue for his sound, but with the talent and passion he possesses, I have no doubt he’ll be selling out even bigger spaces soon.

This show completely blew me away—one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. If you ever get the chance to see Louis Dunford live, don’t hesitate. This is an artist on the rise, and he’s only getting started.
